30 Aug to 7 Sep : Scottish Borders Festival of Walking 2008
Visit the Scottish Borders and take part in the Scottish Borders Festival of Walking which will feature walks along St Cuthbert's Way, historic Dere Street (famous for its Roman heritage), The Borders Abbeys Way, on the Pennine Way, over ancient drove roads throughout the Cheviot range and along Border valleys and rivers. http://walking.visitscotland.com/events/borders_walk_fest

5th to 21st September 2008 sees the fourth running of a walking festival that gets bigger and better each year. 13 Sep to 15 Sep : East Dunbartonshire Walking Festival 2008
The next East Dunbartonshire Walking Festival will take place on 13 - 19 September 2008. There will be 10 walks suitable for all ages and abilities. Walks will explore the Campsie Fells, Kilpatrick Hills and the Kelvin Valley.
