29 Apr to 7 May : North Devon & Exmoor Walking Festival 2010

There is a wide choice of guided walks on offer, more than half being within Exmoor. This will be the 9th walking festival, attracting many like-minded walkers to the area. 1 May to 8 May : Caithness & Sutherland Walking Festival

The seventh Caithness & Sutherland Walking Festival will take place from 1-8 May 2010. Caithness and Sutherland cater for all kinds of walker. 8 May to 23 May : Isle of Wight Walking Festival 2010

The Island has over 500 miles of well maintained and signposted footpaths around 30 miles of Heritage Coastline, while more than half of the Island is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. 14 May to 16 May : Prestatyn & Clwydian Range Walking Festival

15 May to 6 Jun : South and Heart of Suffolk Walking Festival 2010

The date has been set for the third annual walking festival and the 2010 programme will be very different from the first two. This time they are going to offer many themed guided walks, such as poetry walks with specially comissioned poems relating to the Suffolk countryside; storytelling walks through mystical woodland for children; photographic walks with experts on hand to advise on how to take the best landscape pictures; medieval meanders with costumed guides; children's trials which will include teaching them to build a den. As well as this, there will be several longer walks for the more seasoned walkers and walks to include a cream tea or other tasty refreshments. 22 May to 22 May : CHASE Heroes Night Walk

CHASE – hospice care for children will be hosting their first ‘CHASE Superheroes Night Walk’. The walk will cover 10 miles and will be take place in Guildford. 22 May to 6 Jun : Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival 2010
