4 Sep to 12 Sep : Scottish Borders Walking Festival
The 16th Scottish Borders Walking Festival will take place 4th - 12th September 2010 with walks to be held in and around the Tweed Valley including Peebles, Innerleithen, Walkerburn, West Linton and Selkirk. The walk registration centre will be located in the charming Royal Burgh of Peebles. http://www.borderswalking.com/
5 Sep to 5 Sep : Hannah's Walk
Earn a medal by doing a 5 mile or 1 mile sponsored walk around the beautiful Hartsholme Country Park and Swalnholme Lakes Nature Reserve, Lincoln. All money raised during 2010 through a series of events will be collected together and presented to the Oncology Unit at Lincoln County Hospital in December 2010. The target is to raise £5,000 in total and this will be used to buy equipment to help make a patients time in Oncology more comfortable.
