The Snowdonia National Park was the third national park to be established in England and Wales. It covers 823 square miles of North Wales countryside which millions of visitors enjoy each year.

Walking up Snowdon is probably the most well known walk in the region given its name, and there are several ways to reach the summit. In addition, there are other mountain ranges to walk including Carneddau, Eifionydd, Moelwynion and Glyderau which all have their multiple peaks.

For more leisurely walks there are river and forest walks which you can make as long or short as you wish, all within driving distance of picturesque villages and towns.
